The instruments that are used in maderotherapy are designed to adapt to different parts of the body, are made of wood because this material, one of the five elements of nature, already used by Eastern cultures to manufacture cookware for therapeutic purposes, is considered to be beneficial to health.
These utensils, which at the beginning were heavy and difficult to handle, were perfected in the late 90s of the last century, which allowed that they could be used directly on the skin of the patient. The most commonly used accessories are:
